‘Supergirl’ Milly Alcock and ‘One Battle’ Breakout Chase Infiniti Among Variety’s 10 Actors To Watch for 2025

According To The Variety has announced its 10 Actors to Watch for 2025, a franchise launched in 1998. The list has included more than 35 Academy Award winners and nominees, including Mahershala Ali, Timothée Chalamet and Brie Larson. This year’s roster spotlights up-and-coming and breakthrough actors, many of whom appear in awards season films this year, including “One Battle After Another,” “Sinners” and “Sentimental Value.” Honorees will be profiled in the Oct. 8 issue of Variety and celebrated at a brunch on Oct. 19 at the Newport Beach Film Festival Honors presented by Visit Newport Beach. “We’re thrilled to once again partner with Variety to showcase this year’s 10 Actors to Watch at the Newport Beach Film Festival Honors Brunch,” said Gregg Schwenk, CEO and co-founder of the festival. “Each of these rising stars brings a unique voice and energy to the screen.
